P.S! Jeff Soesbe sez:
"Here's the details on the birth of the list:
The list was created during a conversation between Tim Nichols and me
while goofing off one day at Apple. While discussing The Simpsons, we both
professed extreme admiration for that actor of actors, Troy McClure. We
wrote a list of all the movies we could remember on the whiteboard outside
my cubicle and titled it 'Troy McClure's Movies'. I then sent out a call
on the alt.tv.simpsons newsgroup (for this was early in 1991, before the
World Wide Web was the cultural force it was today) for the rest of the
titles, and collected the full list (which was about 10-12 movies). I gave
the list a title worthy of Troy, and posted it to the newsgroup. Thus was
'The Stellar Acting Career of Troy McClure' born."
